22 Miles Across Lake Tahoe
Take on one of Lake Tahoe’s most legendary bucket-list challenges at the Tahoe Cup – Lake Crossing. This demanding 22-mile (35 km) point-to-point open-water race takes paddlers across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe, surrounded by towering Sierra peaks and breathtaking alpine scenery.
More than a race, the Tahoe Cup is a test of endurance, strategy, and determination. With cold, deep water and a long course stretching from South Lake Tahoe to North Lake Tahoe, participants must rely on preparation and resilience to reach the finish line.
Choose Your Craft
The event welcomes individual paddlers and teams across a variety of craft, including SUPs, prone boards, OC1s, surfski, rowing shells, and marathon canoes.
Race Window: September 18–20, 2026 The race will take place on the best weather day, with the final date confirmed during race week.
