Join the Tahoe Philharmonic for Requiem: We Remember, a moving concert honoring lives lost to tragedy, conflict, violence, disaster, and sacrifice, while recognizing the courage and compassion of those who have stepped forward to help others.
Marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, this powerful musical tribute reaches beyond a single event to remember those affected by loss and hardship around the world.
The program features guest violinist Jennifer Choi performing Sibelius’s Violin Concerto on the historic Firebird Stradivarius, offering Lake Tahoe audiences a rare chance to experience this remarkable instrument live.
Under the direction of conductor James Rawie, the Tahoe Philharmonic will also perform Fauré’s peaceful and deeply moving Requiem, along with Rossini’s energetic William Tell Overture.
